How it all started
How it all started
My design journey started with hacking together MySpace layouts and LiveJournal themes as a teenager—much to my parents' concern ("That will never get you a job!")
So I studied Anthropology instead, which unexpectedly equipped me with great skills for my future career—understanding how people think and interact, and what they value.
After cutting my teeth in marketing—building WordPress sites and brand guides—I found my true calling in product design. As an American designer now based in Berlin for the past 5 years, working with international teams on products localized in 20+ languages has sharpened my ability to design for diverse global audiences. My ongoing journey of language learning and navigating life in an unfamiliar country have opened new perspectives on how culture shapes experience—insights I bring directly into my design work.
When I'm not transforming complex problems into elegant solutions, I'm capturing my travels through my camera, exploring the city on two wheels, or perfecting yet another Notion template.
